Make Two Cards at Once with Flourish Thinlits

    April 18, 2017

Do you love to save time while stamping?  Here’s a way to get a second card using leftovers from your first card.  All you need to do is have a second card base ready to go and do some paper piecing.

I used Sweet Sugarplum for my card base.

For the layer, I used Rich Razzleberry and Mint Macaron card stock cut at 5 1/4″ by 4″.

I ran each of these through the Big Shot with the large flower from the Flourish Thinlits.  Don’t you love that flower?  I use the Precision Base Plate with my detailed dies for a clean cut.

Then I used my silicone sheet and either Liquid Glue or snail on the flower.   When you use snail, some of your adhesive will get in the cracks of the flower.  I turn it right side up and take my Paper Piercing Tool to get out the bits of adhesive.  Place the contrasting flower inside the cutout and repeat with the other flower.  Glue them to your card bases and you have two cards ready to write and mail!

This would be pretty with many different combinations of card stock.  Use your favorite colors and make some cards!

Here are more cards made with the Flourish Thinlits.
