Sending condolences is necessary, but we hope we never have to send these cards. It’s great to have them on hand because you never know when you are going to need one. Being able to pull one from your stash and send it out immediately is sometimes a relief. So here we go! Let’s learn how to make this pretty sympathy card and coordinating envelope.
Card Recipe
- Card Base–Very Vanilla 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
- Blackberry Bliss Card Stock 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
- The greeting from the Kindness and Compassion Stamp Set was stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink on a piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock 3 7/8″ x 1″
- Adhere this to a piece of Blackberry Bliss Card Stock 3 7/8″ x 1 1/8″
- One the back of this, add strips of Tear and Tape to the top and bottom sides and adhere to Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim. Cut off the ends to match the greeting.
- Stamp your greeting on the inside of the card base with Blackberry Bliss ink.
- For the coordinating Very Vanilla envelope, put glue on the envelope flap and spread to cover. Add a piece of Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper 6″ x 2 1/4″. Trim to match the flap.
