What do these cards all have in common? They all feature the emboss resist technique, using Irresistibly Floral Designer Series Paper, which is available until the end of May or while supplies last. Using sponge daubers, rub ink onto the flowers until you are happy with the shading. When you are finished, use a tissue to wipe excess ink off the resist part of the Designer Series Paper.
I stamped the front of the envelope and the flap using the coordinating Falling Flowers Stamp Set. See the supply list below for the colors used.
I stamped the sentiment from the Wetlands Stamp Set, which is retiring at the end of May. I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies to cut it out. These dies are a sneak peek available in my online store now. I love to use them on a card–they add an elegant touch. These framelits come in a set of four circles, four triangles, and four squares of varying sizes.
For this card, I used Bermuda Bay card stock, and Bermuda Bay and Pool Party Ink.
Check out the inside of this card. I used the May Flowers Framelits Dies and cut out the flower, glued it in the corner and cut off the excess parts of the flower.
